My dogs completely adore and accept me for who I am. With them, I can be myself. They will not judge you, criticize you, make fun of you, make you feel inferior or insufficient, or purposefully try to harm you only to make themselves feel better. They are reliant on you. They are pure, and their interactions with them are straightforward. You are sufficient for them. They are delighted to see me and spend time with me. It’s simple to look after and cherish them.
They don’t expect much from me and don’t want me to change only to please them. Even when I am physically, intellectually, and emotionally at my worst, they adore me. Even if you don’t love yourself, they care about you.
My dogs, in my view, make it simpler to love, care for, and care about them than humans, which may explain why you love and care for animals more than people.
