The 9-1-1 star took her long blonde hair to Nine Zero One salon in Los Angeles to see her longtime hairstylist Nikki Lee “to spice things up.” The results? A brunette bob! It’s a huge change for the star and a big departure from her light locks.
It was only in early July that Hewitt got those long blonde strands. Back then, she shared her new hair on her Instagram stories, writing, “More length, more blonde, more fun.” The actor gave all the credit to Lee and extensions expert Seama Eftekhari. 9-1-1 fans were shocked at the transformation because it looked so different from her character, Maddie. Well, the new brunette bob is way more Maddie.
The pretty hue is a bit like the cowboy copper hair that’s trending on TikTok. It’s darker and has more brown than red but still a bit spicer than your average brunette.
The actor was a bit cryptic on Instagram stories about her new look. She loves to share memes and this one felt very timely: “When a woman wants to change her life. She cuts her hair short.” What big life changes could be coming her way? Because of the Writers Guild of America strike, 9-1-1 isn’t filming — nothing is filming. But it’s possible Hewitt has something else in the works, hoping something exciting so the life change is a good change.
Or maybe she’s really just excited for fall. Hewitt is a certified “holiday junkie” who loves to celebrate each holiday and the entire season. So, why not look the part too, even though fall temperatures in Los Angeles are months away?
Friends and fans are obsessing over the new look. “LOVE IT!!!!!! So stunning,” said host and author Amanda Kloots. “Ooooo will this be Maddy’s new look next 911 season?!” said a fan. Hopefully the strike will end soon and we’ll get that answer.
